It had minor issues with it's battery, but Gateway Customer support was great and almost 8-9 months ago, I did major upgrade on this machine. Gateway replaced both batteries and working very fine since then. It has two high capacity batteries used at once can give over 8 hours backup for normal usage. And over 6 hours with Multimedia/wifi turned on
Originally this machine had a Celeron 1.6, and I also spend on upgrading it to 1.73 Ghz Core Duo Processor.
